Lionel DRAON has held the positions of Executive Director of the Virtual Medical University of Monaco [UMVM], since its creation in 2008 until 2012. This Monegasque law association was created with the support of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover.
The Virtual Medical University of Monaco is a higher education organization by e-learning, providing continuous medical education programs of the highest level, in highly specialized fields.
Each training programme of 20 to 25 hours is placed under the responsibility of an internationally recognized expert and includes several modules whose teaching is delivered by experts from around the world. The qualifications awarded are subject to validation by the European and American accreditation bodies.
Its Scientific Council was placed under the authority of the Professor Philippe Evrard, former Chief of Pediatric Neurology and Metabolic Diseases ward - Robert-Debré Hospital (Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris) who states that Lionel DRAON has demonstrated real skills inherent to the creation, development and conduct of this type of complex project.
Due to its autonomy and its many initiatives, he designed and developed innovative educational tools at that time and realized the production of technical training programmes.
Within this framework, he has been in charge of relations with educational leaders and supervised the educational and legal aspects of the project. Moreover, he has demonstrated perfect knowledge of the communication in the international scientific and academic community to permit the dissemination of productions.
Lionel has demonstrated great professionalism and has proved to be a collaborator demonstrating a continued dedication and possessing human qualities unanimously recognized and appreciated by all members the Board of Directors and all the people he coached and it is this dedication that endears him to the Professional Bodyguard Association where in 2015 he became our Head of Clinical Studies.
