Rupert Bancroft

Rupert has taught self-defence/unarmed combat and judo to a wide range of students including, children, teenagers, men, women, and military personnel

in the UK and abroad. He has worked in the private security industry for over twenty years.

In 2008 he decided to step up his game and qualified as a SIA licensed Close Protection Officer due to being tasked to protect, Celebrities, A-list movie stars, TV stars, Musicians and High Net worth Individuals.

In 2012 he was selected to form part of the training team that taught thousands of students from different backgrounds, cultures and religions on behalf of G4S security for the London Olympics.

He has stated that this was a monumental task and when he soon discovered that not everyone is mentally equipped to undertake this difficult and often thankless task.

Subsequent to this Rupert was selected to provide similar training for the Commonwealth games due to be held in Glasgow 2014 and has become more outspoken about the need for standards to be improved.

Teaching is Rupert's forte and he does this with exceptional flair always cognitive of his learners’ expectation to leave the course having improved their knowledge in readiness for improving their performance in the workplace.
